One of the great things about thrifting is that you can feel good about experimenting with styles and trends that you normally would not try. For me that is overalls. I love a jumpsuit but I've never owned a pair of bib overalls.
I have to admit that I feel like I'm on my way to a fun day at Gymboree. I don't think bib overalls are quite right for me but they are pretty dang cozy. I thought they would be uncomfortable being so fitted and all but the denim is really soft and pajama like.
I don't normally do distressed denim either. I have some with small holes. These are pretty large and open. I'm more classic than I had myself pegged.
Mid rise is not the move for me either but I wanted to give these overalls a try and I'm glad I did but I think I would be more comfortable in a vintage pair that's less trendy and less form fitting.
I paired them with an oversized sweater and heels to move away from the playground and look more adult in my onesie.
