As expected, we had an amazing time at US Weekly's Family Movie Night. I was happy to just sit back and relax with my family. We arrived early enough to grab a complimentary blanket and claim our spot on the Plaza. Once settled in, Violet and I tried our hand at improv by grabbing a few props and doing a seven second video for a flip book. I think E was impressed with our skills.
After that Violet got in touch with her artistic side and colored in the big coloring book. When did she start coloring inside the lines? Time moves too fast. She also had the pleasure of meeting and making friends with MommyWeek's beautiful daughter.
After coloring we took ourselves over to the Orville Redenbacher concession stand for popcorn and to watch the dancing water in the wishing fountain. Once the sun went down, we found our prime spot on the Plaza and settled in for the movie.
Family movie night was so much fun and while we loved the movie, the experience was the best part of all. We had never been to Alpharetta so the entire day was an adventure. We were outdoors. The weather was beautiful. Our family was together. I was able to meet some of my favorite bloggers in person including Ashley of MommyWeek and Mimi of Unlikely Martha.
The next day I asked her what was her favorite part of the night, and she said it was playing with her friends. I already knew that. Glad to see the event was special to her as well.
