Tomorrow is Friday and one of the things I look forward to is picking V up from school. It's one of the few times I'm excited to jump right into the carpool lane. And wait. While I'm there, I plan out family fun weekend activities for us.
This weekend we're surprising Violet by taking her to US Weekly's Family Movie Night. If you didn't already know, V has been on a strict bedtime of 7:30. Now that she's a little older we relax the routine sometimes so this will be a pretty exciting night out for her.
US Weekly's Family Movie Night is Saturday, September 19th at 6PM in Alpharetta, GA at the Avalon. There's a lot of room to spread out and get comfortable and cozy on the sprawling lawn of The Plaza. The event includes games, snacks and of course an outdoor movie! It's free and open to the public.

My pack list for the event includes:
- Blankets - I usually carry 2 or 3 so that V has lots of room to move around and have extra room if she makes new friends. Plus, they're easy to carry.
- Chair in a Bag - Our loveseat sized chair in a bag is super comfortable for us grownups.
- Snacks - Definitely popcorn. It's the correct choice for movie night!
- Water and Juice
- Wet Wipes - I never leave home without them.
Our popcorn of choice is Orville Redenbacher's Movie Theater Butter Popcorn. It's so key for the movie experience. Orville Redenbacher makes it fun by providing the same great taste of the "movie theater" popcorn including an authentic looking movie theater tub or the ultra portable pop up bowls. The popcorn itself conveniently pops up in minutes giving a delicious, light and fluffy snack fast.
