A Huff Post Thriftanista stated she never buys thrifted black "unless it's almost new, as faded black clothing is the worst thing ever." I'm totally on board with that rule. I don't want look in my closet and see all black. It's so easy to start hiding behind it and throwing it on because it matches everything.
My jumpsuit happens to be new so I'll be fading this one out all on my own. Likely deadstock as there were at least 20 on the rack just like it. Only $5! Retail priced at $125. That's a deal I can't past up. Not to mention the drawstring waist and pockets.
It was made for someone at least 6 ft tall so I had to cut a few inches off and re-hem. So worth the extra work though.
It's comfortable and can be dressed up or worn casual. I cut them to wear with flats since I'm sure to jump into it quite often when I'm looking for grab and go clothes. I added a pop of color in my earrings, bracelet, thong sandals, and the leather elephant clutch. Now I'm ready to day party.
