We've just recently caught on to the Disney Fairies movies so we're super excited about the Tinker Bell & the Legend of the NeverBeast (#TinkandNeverbeast) DVD and Blu-Ray release tomorrow, March 3rd.

In the latest installment of Disney's Fairies, animal fairy Fawn befriends a huge and mysterious creature known as the NeverBeast. Tinker Bell and the other fairies of Pixie Hollow aren't too sure about this scary addition. Fawn has to  rally the girls to save the NeverBeast and prove that there is so much more to this mythical creature than just razor-sharp fangs and claws.

One of the perks of being a parent is rediscovering your childhood. I can do the things I wanted to do as a kid but never had the opportunity to do. I can relive some of my favorite moments with toys. I'm being introduced to so many animated movies that aren't on my adult radar. I get to see Violet's reaction too which makes the experience even better.

Violet jumped into the Fairies series pretty easily. Have you seen the sparkle on those wings? Irresistible. During out last trip to Walmart, she became mesmerized and left with two new fairy friends. We have Tinker Bell Bubble Fairy because no trip to Walmart is complete without visiting the toys and this toy has bubbles. Sparkly things and bubbles top her list of loves. We discovered Tinker Bell Bath Fairy in the clearance section on the way out.

During nap time, I "whipped" up some bottles of fairy dust for her. I put them on a necklace so she'll have them handy should she need a little magic and made her promise not to use them to turn her veggies into sweets.

Fairy Dust Charm Necklace

This is a very quick and easy craft project. It's perfect as a party favor or a kid activity while checking out the new Tinker Bell & the Legend of the NeverBeast movie. You can add to the fun with these fun coloring sheets too.

Supplies needed:

- 10 mini corked bottles with hooks
- cord, ribbon, or chain for necklace
- glue
- glitter
- labels and mod podge (optional)

Instructions:

Fold a piece of paper in half and pour about a 1/2 tsp of glitter in the crease. Add glitter to bottle filling about ⅔ of the way up.

Dab glue around lower edge of cork and pop it back on bottle to seal.

I made Fairy Dust labels for the bottles that you are welcome to use.

Print them out and attach to bottles with Mod Podge.

String bottles onto cord and tie or clasp around neck. Done!

As a lover of all things fabulous and sparkly, she likes to wear all of her jewelry and my jewelry put together. The more color the better just like mommy. Now she has a colorful piece for her own collection.
