I found this dress at Village Discount Outlet. I was prepared to leave it behind since I'm not looking for anymore dresses. I love the color. I tried it on and loved the fit so much. Its petite sized so the length works really well for my short legs. Most dresses don't hit me at the right length.
It has pockets. Love. Yes, that's where my hands are hidden in the picture. The dress also has a button front (great for nursing), mandarin collar, and pintucks on the sleeves and bodice. The belt was missing but I think it looks great with my pink belt (another thrift store find).
I don't remember what I paid but $3.00 or less is what I normally spend per item when thrifting.
It looks like I have a goiter on my neck but I don't that's just what happens when you try to flip the hair out of your face before the timer goes off. |
Do you thrift?
What are some of your great finds?

That's a really cute dress. I wouldn't have left it behind either and, yes, the pink belt is very cute with it.
Love it.
No goiter, but are you looking down at me?
When I was little, I had a Julia doll (um, I still have her), and I used to dress her in yellow all the time. She looked so pretty. Barbie looked like vomit in yellow...
(Julia was the TV show that Diahann Carroll starred in, circa 1967. Have I told you that before?)
Oh, and I tried on the cutest sleeveless shirt dress at Marshall's last week. It was too short--perfect for you. And it was more than three bucks!
omg!!!!! I love pockets!!!!! and I love the dress I couldn't have passed that up.
That dress is great! My best find was a pucci-esque print romper, but it was at a vintage store...so more than 3 bucks. I had to get it altered also, but I love it. I'm wearing it in my profile photo on my blog.
Love the dress, so simple and classy!
You look wonderful in the dress! The yellow plus a pop of pink?
(Note to self: Copy this look.)
(Second Note to Self: Get a yellow dress first.) ;)
As always so cute! Can't wait for our thrift store outing!
Thanks everyone for enabling. $3 well spent!
@Funkidivagirl *drool* I'm always on the hunt for a great vintage find at thrift stores...a rare rare occurrence.
