This is the most perfect of weekend attire. The kangaroo pouch red sweatshirt is ultra comfortable. The pocket keeps my hands warm and I can leave my big purse at home. Everything goes in the pouch. When I'm done running around, it's also a great place for the remote control that always seems to get lost on the couch.
The skirt is a thrift find that at first glance seemed quite boring. It's very figure flattering though with a wide drawstring waistband and fancy gores that gives me some length on the stumpy legs even with the midi length.
Super extra bonus points for being a throw on and go skirt. It's wrinkled but it looks fine that way. Adds texture and visual interest. At least that's what I tell myself.
It's still cold in this land. After braving the weather in my near pajamas, I hopped right back on the couch with a glass of wine looking very similar to the morning's coffee pose. No wardrobe change required.
I feel put together though. I do believe I've channeled the essence of a very interesting look I posted on Facebook. I wasn't sure how I felt about the sweatshirt midi skirt combination then I started to dig it mainly because of the wearer's confidence. Now having tried it, I'm loving the combination even more. Next time I'll have to wear a bad ass shoe -- the key to any great outfit.

Very cute. I love how you styled the skirt and gave it "life". Good look and I love the inspiration photo!

I've never heard it called a kangaroo pocket! I like the skirt and the sweat shirt together. It looks comfortable as hell.

Just because someone cops an air of confidence it doesn't mean the outfit works. The more you post that blue sweatshirt and skirt combo, the more I dislike it. It's like she was at a party and spilled wine on her shirt, so she knocked on the host's 80 year old neighbor's door and borrowed her big ol' sweatshirt. Bleah.
Sweatshirt looks super cozy. Perfect for weekend errands.
My weekend attire is always very casual, unless I have somewhere special to go. Love the combination you chose.
Have a great week!

I like how you dressed up this casual outfit with heeled boots!
That sweatshirt is a perfect color!
