Personalized Wedding Gift Ideas

This post is brought to you by Target, but all opinions and content are my own. Follow along with #TargetWedding.

Creating a personalized wedding gift celebrates the unique qualities of the individuals and speaks to their inevitable differences and distinct personalities. It also celebrates the couple together which is why Target Wedding's theme for this year is "Be Yourself, Together".

Never having the experience of choosing gifts for a wedding registry, I was excited to peruse the Target Wedding Catalog and pick out gifts that I wanted for myself and of course, the husband.

There were a few favorites that stood out for me but the number one gift idea I loved were the linens. I was reminded of how we came to our home with our single life things and made them work. We never picked out colors and decorated based on our life together. So off I went to Target in search of new linens and accessories that suited both of us!

Per Target's Style Expert for Home, "choose a color palette for your bathroom together, then add towels and bath accessories that fit your style. I usually select a minimum of three colors to a palette."

DIY Bathroom Makeover

E and I love bright, vibrant colors so we chose red (E's favorite) and orange (my favorite color with red), and purple (my favorite color). I picked out a complete set of linens in each color to create a DIY Bathroom Makeover that can be used as a wedding gift should linens be on the happy couple's gift registry!

Supplies Needed:
Linens (bath towels, face towels, washcloths)
Bath Mat
Shower Curtain
Candle
Toiletries
Inspirational Wall Decal
Basket
Target Gift Card (optional)

What to Do:
Place all of the contents in the basket and you're all set to go!

More Personalized Wedding Gift Ideas

I've found some other unique gift ideas inspired by my gifts from the Target Wedding Registry:

Create a martini bar for the happy couple with Target glasses, shaker, and mixers.

Make decorative gift boxes to keep wedding mementos, cards, and love notes from each other.

DIY a set of champagne flutes using bud vases and nail polish.

Create a breakfast in bed vibe by gifting bedding and a coffee maker.

What's the best, most unique wedding gift you have received or seen?
