Ninja Cooking System Review
A few weeks ago, I attended a blogger preview for the Ninja Cooking System. We wined and dined at the Wooden Spoon. New York Times bestselling author and slow cooking expert goddess Stephanie O'Dea was our hostess with the mostest. All food served was made using the Ninja and it was delicious!

Are you familiar with the Ninja Cooking System? Not only is it a slow cooker, it can also be used as an oven and stovetop. It even steam roasts and bakes!
As a super awesome bonus to the evening, we each received a Ninja of our very own. Yay!!!
When I went to the preview, I knew it would make my life easier. I have a hard time in the kitchen with V underfoot. I usually start preparing my meals hours ahead of time because I know I will have to stop several time to attend to her needs for diaper changes, random food, book reading, tickles, and such. Once I finally crank out a meal, I have a crap load of dishes to wash and smutz to clean up which I hate doing. It breaks into my multitasking evening routine of drinking wine, reading blogs, and watching tv.
The first meal I made was Spaghetti & Meatballs from the included cookbook.
I made mine a little bit different by using chicken sausage and meatballs that I browned first.

I added spaghetti, sauce and water*.
Turned the oven setting to 300 and let it cook for 25 minutes.
fin.
It was delicious and it passed the Violet palate of approval!
I have not used our range for cooking since I opened the box. I've made the upside down mac & cheese and pork tenderloin with veggies so far. This week I used the cookbook as a meal planning guide. My plan is try out every recipe and not have to ask myself "what am I making" for the next few months! Winning!
Do you own a slow cooker? Ninja Cooking System? Have any easy recipes for me to try?
*The recipe called for 4 cups of water and knowing nothing about nothing with cooking I decided to add less. It got really dry so a word of advice, don't skimp on the water.
