Greetings! I don't have an adventure today. I have not been thrifting in over a week. Le sigh. However, I have created a facebook page called the Thriftanista Social Club. It's sort of an adventure, since I don't know what the outcome is going to be. My vision is a community of thrifters participating in monthly adventures, sharing thrift hauls and fabulous finds. If that sounds like a fit for you you, please join us. If you're local, there's an event coming in March with COCKTAILS (or mocktails)! Hey!! If you're not on fb, I will periodically send updates via the blog or twitter.
What I'm Wearing
I've had this trench in my closet for a few months now. I love vintage trench coats but they never seem to fit me right. I own 2 others. It may have something to do with the classic long straight boxy shape. I think I'm too short for long coats. I was super excited about finding this one. It has a drawstring that cinches the waist and falls right under the bust for me making my legs appear longer. It's twirl-able too! I love it and hope this is one I'll actually wear when the weather warms up.

I just sent a request to join the 'club' :) I love trench coats too but, only if they are shorter and not so long...I too am not tall enough for a lot of the trenches out there! :)

I do own a classic trench but its bright purple, almost like your background, I get compliments on it every spring! And I got it from Tarjay to boot! I love this one you are rocking!
that trench is fire!!! It's so classic and feminine! I don't own one but have wanted one for years. I have the opposite problem of being really tall so the sleeves never fall quite right. ugh!

That's a pickle with the sleeves. Us short girls can at least have our clothes shortened.

I love trench coat but what I find are too long for me I am only 4"11 petite. I love your boots! ^_^
