It tells the story of three women from different backgrounds who meet in college and form a strong friendship spanning many years. Girlfriends and life spanning? Yes, please! I've just started listening to the post college years and I've found myself seeking out more opportunities to hear more.
I only have 21 days -- the downside to digital downlaods, no renewals -- and then it will magically disappear from my iPad. I've lost my space in several books this way and I've never bothered to reserve them again.
I shall not let it happen with this one. I need to know what trials and tribulations the ladies will face for the next 20 or more years. It's always a good sign when you don't want to let go of the characters. I'll also be checking out some of their other books.
What are you reading? Any DeBerry and Grant fans? Have you listened to any good books lately?

Currently I am not reading any books. :(
But I always like adding to my "to read" list. I haven't done any audio books, just not sure it is for me. But maybe.....
The lastest book that I read was Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh, the founder of Zappos.
You know I am always reading. At work my students are reading 'Civil Disobedience', Smack and A Long Way Gone. At home I am reading Choir Director by Carl Weber and I love it!!!!
I have read all their books. Their first - "Trying to Sleep in the Bed You Made" - is the best.
Last week I read THREE books! Yes...THREE. All by Mary Higgins Clark. It was a good week.
@Optimistic Mom my to read list keeps getting longer and longer and my reading time is shorter and shorter. So many great books to read, so little time.
@IAAMM sounds like a good one. I love the title and I love shoes!
@Tiff wow, you have a lot of books going I've never read Carl Weber. Sounds audio worthy.
@Girl...get a life I'm going to check out the first one. Juicy title.
I just finished Eat Pray Love and just wrote a review. It was pretty good. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. I'm about to finish Sex With Kings, that's a pretty good one.
@Lisa C Writes Sex With Kings? Such a titillating title. It sounds like something I would read. I'm going to add it to my goodreads.
