Communications Launch

The signing has begun. We've started with 5 signs and will speak the swahili word (His home language) to her.

I'm using the My First Signs book and Baby Sign Language Basics - book and dvd.

Mama - Mama

Daddy - Baba

Milk - Maziwa

Bath - Oga

Bed/Sleep - Lala

I feel kind of silly signing to her but I figure if she can understand when it's bedtime (I know because she has a total meltdown when putting on her diaper every night) she can pick up on the signs.
