Levi's jeans are a classic. Over the thrift years, I've found that the vintage ones tend to fit a straighter less curvaceous body type. Which I am not. I have to go up at least two to get them over the hips. Then there's a huge gap at the waist. While checking the boys section for misplaced strays, I found a pair of Levi's that had a great crop length on my short legs. In addition to a nice cropped length, they have a good waist to hip ratio. Now I am a fan.
The boy jeans are not too fitted either. They're not all up in the business like a lot of high rise vintage jeans are. They come up high on my waist and even hit high in the back. There's a slight V shape to the waistband that's really flattering too. I'm not sure if that's how they make boy jeans or if they're just perfectly broken in from tons of outdoor play.
The distressing at the hem is a nice custom touch. I could unpick it to give myself more length but I like the way it's frayed and worn right now. Boy jeans also have real pockets! They are insanely long. I can fit a whole hand in them. Why can't women's jeans have real pockets?
I'm wearing them with my winter staple -- the black turtleneck. I bought a few on Amazon because they are cozy, cheap and go with everything. Topped the look off with a coat from my Poshmark closet.
I bought it thinking it would be a quick sale. It's oversized. Has an interesting chevron weave. Big pockets. It's a sweater but also a coat. I haven't found anyone digging it as much as I am so I get to wear it!
The boots are my old favorites. I bought them nearly 10 years ago. The wedge is walkable and they have a vintage look to them. Some of my boots haven't seen the light of day in years. These continue to make it out of the closet regularly. They're not thrifted and probably the most I've ever paid for shoes. I've definitely gotten my money's worth though.
