I like polka dots but I don't love polka dots. The length and shape of this bias cut midi skirt is what I love most about this thrifted piece. Oh yeah, it's elastic waist, baby! A perfect choice for noshing with friends as we said bon voyage to Violet's favorite uncle and babysitter. Lots of eating and drinking. At the end of the night, my braces were aching and I was sporting quite the food baby. Good times!
Thrift a Midi Skirt
If you're looking for polka dots, should be easy to spot! Dot. Spot. Haaaa!!!
Unless you are ga ga over polka dots no reason to spend over $5.
Do not sleep on elastic waist. It's comfortable and it's not just for older thriftanistas!
Try on in store. Midi length can be hard to judge just by eyeballing alone.
If you are fortunate to spot (ha!) culottes instead of a skirt. Give it a try. I think you'll love them.
Midi Skirt Style
I have a die hard love of fancier skirts with a fun tee. It's perfect for mom casual sahm style.
I've worn this look with flats and with heels. Heels win even if it's a slight heel.
Try a pop of color somewhere (accessories or top) if you're going with a classic black / white polka dot.
Midi length looks amazing on long legs. Actually is there anything that doesn't look amazing on long legs? Yes, I stan for long legs.

I made it to a couple of estate sales on Friday. All of it is going to Thriftanista Closet except the vintage sunnies in this post. I cracked them so I'm keeping those. Let me know if anything catches your eye. I'll hold it for ya!
