I thought I was done with overalls after the black ASOS pair but these Liberty ones spoke to my vintage denim loving heart. I don't feel like I'm heading to Gymboree in this one. They have a close fit but it's not too tight. It shows off curves but in a casual and relaxed way.
The size tag has been ripped off but I suspect they may be a boys size due to the fact that they aren't super long on my short legs. I love how nipped at the waistline it is. It's not something I would look for in overalls but it is definitely working out for me.
The bib front makes a nice apron to protect me from myself when wearing white. I don't have one white shirt that isn't stained somewhere including the tank I'm wearing here. I can't decide it the white is turning me into a spill magnet or if I just spill all the time and never notice it.
I decided to take the look up with lots of color from my African beaded jewelry collection. I also wore heels to avoid folding, tucking, cuffing or otherwise manipulating the bottom hem. Future wears will likely be in sneakers or sandals. The bottom drag should make a nice diy distressing detail on the bottom hem.
This piece is for sale in The Thriftanista Closet but it's definitely one I'll be wearing until it's time to pass it on.
