12 Ways To Werk African Prints

We all know african prints have a special place in my heart. I wore an ankara print skirt and an off the shoulder dashiki top in this week alone. It turns out I'm not the only one in love with this colorful fabric.

Here's a small sample of ways to wear and werk in african print.

Sweenee Style wore loose fitting joggers with a chunky heel for an athleisure look.

Always Fashionably Late wore a dazzling ankara print maxi skirt with fabulous cobalt heels and a grey tee.

FabEllis added a pop of color to an all black ensemble with an african print body suit.

Unapologetically Us styled her Nigerian wrap skirt with a front tie chambray crop top.

Distinguished Diva wore a hand sewn (by her Auntie in Nigeria) dashiki tunic as a swimsuit coverup while on vacation.

Toke's Take on Style wore an ankara dress and paired it with a bold statement necklace and a fab obi belt.

24 Plus Style found an striped dress at the thrift store (yay!) that perfectly embodies the bold colors and prints african print fashion is known for.

Brand Noux Life paired an ankara skirt with a simple body suit for chic style and maximum comfort.

Economy of Style "werked" a vibrant yellow african print with an equally as vibrant yellow off the shoulder tee.

Vee Pee Jay styled her peplum ankara midi skirt with a classic white t-shirt.

Plus Size Princess paired an ankara print peplum top with a bodycon tube skirt.

Taniqua Russ accentuated an ankara print pencil skirt with a simple tank and elegant accessories.
