Just when I had given up on current brand jeans at the thrift store, I find a pair with retro style. The bottoms are extra bell and the waist is the highest ever. They are truly a blessing from the thrift gods. I've combed through several jean racks in multiple stores since dropping pounds. This is my first time coming across a current style with such a long zipper!
The material is very soft and stretchy which made me a little nervous that there would be a visible panty line situation but the magical fabric manages to hug the curves without revealing my granny panties. I'm sure no one is surprised. Mom jeans. Granny panties. Turbans. They kind of all fit together.
More old school revival with thrift store clip ons and a church lady turban which I must say is my new favorite accessory. It's so much easier than a head wrap or trying to wear my hair up. Working out everyday has given my hair a permanent case of the fuzzies. My turbans have been such a time saver when I don't feel like messing around with the locs which is most days.
I continued the retro theme by tucking in my faded, broken in lips t-shirt. What's the point of having all that rise if you don't show it off? My white wedge platforms are the highest shoes I own and the only shoes I can possible wear with these jeans. That's the only downside. They are made for someone with super long legs.
