I am so in love with one of my latest thrift finds. I found a vintage floral duster while I was in Palm Springs. It's bright and colorful. Long and cozy. It's light enough for summer wear and keeps the air conditioner chill away. I wore it to brunch and felt like one of the Golden Girls in my pastel colored ensemble.
Besides the long length on the coat, I love the huge pockets that can hold all weekend essentials -- sunglasses and keys.
I brought the brightness level up even more by pairing with the a pink flamingo print top and watermelon inspired earrings. I feel so fun and kitschy.
With the exception of shoes, everything is thrifted. My top and jeans are a couple of online thrift finds. I found a pair of J. Crew jeans that would have been perfect for me if they were just a tad smaller so I purchased the smaller size on eBay then sold the ones I found on Poshmark.
The top is a bundle deal I found on Poshmark. Once I find an item I like, I tend to buy a few pieces from the same seller because that shipping is a doozy for just one item. I was able to score a trio of breezy tops for $25 total.
My earrings are from a small random thrift store. I break them out every summer. They made it in the spring lineup because flowers and flamingoes. Why not watermelon? So many shades of pretty pink.
The shoes are from ASOS. I noticed that square toe shoes were coming back on the scene and I scooped up a pair before the trend disappears again and I hate them all over again. I'm loving all the toe room and clear sandals are just the neutral for my very colorful upper half.
