What could be better than gold buttons and epaulets on a sweater? Sequins? Yes, but my new thrifted sweater is still pretty awesome and it's also Pantone's chosen color of the year - radiant orchid. I just call it #e09dce! It's used in my blog theme. At first glance, I loved this sweater but I was sure it was going to be a total itch fest with all the furry fibers. I bought it anyway. Gave it a wash and found that it's not so bad. It's actually pretty cozy.
It's the perfect addiction to my sweater deprived closet. It's long enough to be worn with leggings too as I have to cover girl bits when I wear them. I probably should have chosen leggings today but I was interested in seeing how it would look with my brocade pants as the sweater is the same color as one of the colors in the pants.
I can't say I love it. I had to do some serious tucking to get some waist definition. I didn't have plans of tucking a sweater which is on my fashion don't list but it was long and blob-ish untucked. I went with the lesser of two evils.
Are you a fan of epaulets? radiant orchid?

It looks fabulous with the dark silveryness of the pants. Great colour choices. It looks so amazingly soft. I think it's worth tucking in!!
