Shoe Style Saturday: Oxfords for Any Occasion

After a long hiatus I retrieved them from the back of the closet. I wore them to an interview yesterday. The shoes are far move interesting than the interview.
I've worn these as a "going out" shoe, an everyday shoe, and an interview shoe. The look great with skirts/dresses, jeans, slacks, and leggings.
They're very versatile.

The slightly pointy toes aren't very comfortable on my wide toes.
I still need to break them in.

Do you like them? What would you wear them with?

I used to fill Ziploc bags with water, and then crunch them into the toe of the shoe. Put 'em in the freezer, and as the water turns to ice and they expands, the shoes stretch.

You are welcome.

I would wear them with trousers and "nice" jeans. They're sharp!

I love them and would rock them with some skinny jeans and an oxford shirt...

Love those! I have 2 pairs of high heeled oxfords that I never wear, now I'ma have to try them with a skirt. Very cute! Hope the interview went well.

@Ellen thanks for the tip.

@DaeneIT I am an oxford kind of girl too. They don't slip up and down because of the laces and you can get some height. Try them with a skirt and don't forget to take pics. :)

The interview wasn't that great and I'm ok with that.

I didn't think I would like them (the idea of high heel Oxfords? Couldn't visualize it!) but they.are.cute! I'm no fashionista after being married to a dirty hippy for over a decade. But I'd wear them with jeans and a frilly blouse, you know, the kind now that are reminiscent of Victorian blouses? Or a twill skirt and black turtleneck and long necklace with some sort of interesting charm on it.
