Tangerine diy dye

I took this dress from drab to fab by adding a little color.
Shirt dress - LL Bean (thrifted)
Floral flats - Dots

Soaking up the color on the stovetop.
Oooooooh!

Washed, dried, and waiting on a hanger.
Ahhhhhh!

POW!
Much improved.
(Today's backdrop includes liquor, a tripod on a table, and a naked baby.)
Shirt dress - LL Bean (thrifted)
Belt - Calvin Klein
Shoes - Kenneth Cole Reaction

Do you dye?

I LOVE dying stuff! I've got 3 pairs of jeans, a skirt, and a sweatshirt I've taken from blah to fab with a little dye :) It's amazing how much it can change a garment! And I LOVE this dress in tangerine... Super chic!!

WOW!!! I love love this dress and the orange is popping off your skin. I totally forgot about dying my not so cute anymore, worn out ,faded color, stuff. I'm going through my closet this weekend for things to dye. Great idea!

That made a huge difference. I haven't dyed anything yet but I certainly would try it.

Wow. This color came out great. I actually just purchased some dye on Friday. Though I was not impressed with the selection of colors, I can't wait to try it out!

Much improved! The last thing I dyed came out kind of mottled looking, but I still liked it!

I love how it turned out. That color looks good on you. A naked baby on cloth diaper in the background? Awesome! :)

What a brilliant idea, to change the colour of the dress. This colour looks so much more vibrant that its original. What brand of dye do you recommend? I can't wait to try this, you have inspired me!
