I like to mix and mingle with different styles. Even before the days of thrifting, I considered my style pretty eclectic and hodge podge. It's the fashion fickle in me, I guess. Oxfords appeal to my miniscule preppy side. They have always been my thing.
This is my first time owning flat oxfords though. You know I'm on a quest for flat shoes that better suit my lifestyle of running errands and strolling the neighborhood. I spotted these pretties on Amazon. I could have gone with black or brown but where's the fun in that? Bright turquoise shoes make my heart sing!
I took them for a spin around town along with last year's thrift find -- a vintage purple poly blazer. It's the perfect jacket for the SAHM life. I feel put together but it's very relaxed. It can go in the washing machine. It doesn't wrinkle. It will probably out live me since it's polyester. How's that for a closet staple!
I hope the blazer and candy colored oxfords are distracting you from the fact that I wore the same tee a couple of weeks ago. I washed it and wore it again before it even made it back into the dresser.
Now these Cookie jeans haven't been seen in a while. They have been at the bottom of the laundry bin for quite sometime. I've been skimming the top of the pile for a few months so I'm rediscovering a lot of clothes that I had forgotten about. Of course, it's too warm to wear some of it now. SN: eff you Chicago weather and your below 70 temps.
On the accessories scene, I pulled out the biggest sunglasses I own. They are bigger than the Foster Grants. They are ridiculously big and I like it!
I added neutral colored bracelets to balance against all the colors on top and the flats. It was nice to look down and see Mr. Wolf bracelet again.
