Thriftanista Style File: Akira and the Ballet Flats

This is my first time wearing the blouse. I showcased it on Perspective but I never got around to wearing it. I love that it's different from anything else I own. All that ruffle on the shoulders. Love. The black trim. Love. The color. Love (even though it's not a color I would normally seek out). The empire waist and baby doll shaping. It's growing on me.

I didn't think I would be able to wear this anytime soon without covering up the ruffly shoulders. The mild temps are here again though.

I'm also wearing ballet flats against bare skin. This is heaven. I love Chicago in au printemps winter!
