A couple of weeks ago, I received a complimentary ticket to The Passion Test with Janet Attwood via Inspiring Social Media. It was right up my alley and I am so grateful for having had this experience. I have so many ideas, plans, wants, and desires floating around in my head. It's hard to focus my attention on what's most important to me. This workshop was right on time and it was fun to just sit with it all and be around others looking for the same thing. I loved having the opportunity to talk about it and express it boldly so the universe can hear me.
Me with Sheena of Sophistishe and Stacey of Inspiring Social Media |
We started the workshop by identifying 10 passions using the following sentence:
When my life is ideal, I am _________.
We then narrowed it down to 5 by going through an elimination process.
If I could have Passion 1 but never Passion 2. Which would I choose?
After that we created a few markers to identify how we'll know we are living are passion.
When I am living My Passion, I am ______.
It was a really helpful exercise. Now I know how I want to design my next vision board. My vision board has been really effective with free stuff and parties however I haven't been giving enough focus to my "big ticket" items. I may have titled my vision board "Thinking Big" I wasn't allowing myself to believe that ALL things are possible.
What are some of your passions? Are you living them? Do you ever sit with them?

I'm glad you had a great time! I really need to get moving on my vision board. I like that title idea. I need to write out what my passions are. Thanks for the reminder.
This sounds like fun! I am finding my passion everyday...I love helping people and would love to do that everyday but not within a bureaucracy!,
@Laila do it and then blog it or pin it so I can see it!
@Mrs. Pancakes good for you!
Working backwards through your blog and stopped to do the passion test. Your " About Me" could have been written about me except I am mamma to 4. Omg!!! SISTER! lol!
And we think JM is a hottie! *high five*
