I attended a sneak peek of ProFixx lip pigments and a live mannequin show featuring Tresbelle Vintage. Kaori Nik, a Chicago based cosmetologist and model, let us test drive her new line of innovative lip pigments. Tresbelle Vintage showcased their latest fashions in a live mannequin show.
In between wine swigs, I played around with the amazing lip pigments that will not be available until October 18th. *sad face* Purple was my favorite and I wore it home even though I am wearing heavy blue eyeshadow on my lids.
I visited the Tresbelle racks twice. In addition to a fabulously curated vintage collection they also refashion some of their pieces. Sadly, I didn't purchase anything and will have to visit again. I'm still thinking about a jumpsuit I left behind.
I spoke to a Thriftanista who had a full bag of goodies and gladly indulged my request for thrift p0rn. Y'all know I'm on the socially awkward side but I spoke right up and asked to see what was in her bag. Addiction will do that to you!
I wore a mix of vintage and modern for a look all my own and also very wearable. I think. It's a doozy. I'm wearing an animal print trifecta - cheetah (maybe?) print peplum blazer, a horse pendent necklace, and animal print pumps. It's a bold look but I'm wearing some of my favorite pieces so I felt good in it.
