Thriftanista Style File: Casual Mom

If you haven't already noticed, I took a bit of a hiatus. I've been in casual dress lately. I'm talking jeans yoga pants and a t-shirt. Not a cool tee either. Just a big ol' shirts you get free from some event or a brand.

Today I wore accessories. Since that is a rarity for me AND V is napping right now, I thought it would be a good day to post.

I had been on the hunt for cheap sunglasses since V broke my previous pair. I found two $2 pairs in a church thrift shop. The pair I have on look a lot like the broken sunnies. I really want a vintage pair with a $2 price. I will keep hunting. It seems they've all been scooped up by vintage stores.

I bought the wallet months ago. It holds everything I need and can fit inside of a bigger purse. It's a $4 Coach score. Woot woot!

The necklace is from a swap I attended last week hosted by Rachel Jay. It's one of three necklaces that were made by her. The chain attached to it says "inspire". I love it. It's a nice everyday piece that I can throw it over my big hair.

I took the picture right before we left the house. Violet doesn't like any interruptions in "bye-bye" once she has her shoes on. She bum rushed all the other shots. At one point, she pulled out the yoga mat and set it up right in front of me. Really V? Really? That is the face you see here.
