Style File: expresso brown No nonsense leggings

Recently, I received another pair of No nonsense tights and leggings to try out. This time both were in a very neutral shade of Espresso. Coincidently, the brown ribbed tights that were sent to me are exactly the same of the pair I bought in Walmart. Now I have 2 pairs!

The leggings were a bit of a challenge for me. I'm a card carrying member of team wear pants but every now and then I go over to the other side. The brown cotton isn't as thick as the purple corduroy pair. They are extremely soft and easy to wear just like the purple cord leggings though. I have on thick wool tights underneath to provide more coverage and increase the thickness.

I paired them with a ton of layers to add to my theme for the day -- comfort and warmth. I wore this for a day of estate sale shopping and dim sum with friends. I'm casual and ready to shop until I drop and eat several barbeque pork buns!

I'm also wearing a long sleeve tee and a stripped oversized button up underneath. I added a little flair with a recently thrifted faux fur vest and the Betsey Johnson ankle booties to complete the look.

After a long manicure and polish hiatus, I have returned with emerald green sparkly nails. A little bit of color in a sea of neutrals.

Have you tried No nonsense leggings or tights? The leggings are pretty reasonable at $12.99 and can be found in food & drug stores as well as mass retailers. They come in a variety of really great textures and colors.

    I normally just wear pants too but I have gotten into leggings while pregnant and think I may have to continue the style post baby too :)

    Honestly, you can't even tell they're leggings with this outfit. They could pass as pants. I love wearing leggings with layers. It's a lot more comfortable on cold days than jeans. Plus, it's easier to fit boots over leggings than pants lol.

    OOO I love the brown...I thrifted a pair of brown skinnies recently but they've just been chillin' in my closet because I don't know how to wear them. All kinds of ideas now because I have a fur vest too!
