Yesterday, I went to catch a free movie screening but I arrived too late for a seat. Free movies are popular! I did receive a raincheck to come back next week for another screening. I ended up going next door to Niu for sushi, martinis, and an amazing dessert. Well everything was delicious but the Pear martinis and salted caramel cheesecake were extra special YUMMMM!!
My shirt and skirt are thrifted. I bought the shirt because of the gold stripes. It a bit boxy and I had dreams of taking in the sides but....yeah. Throw it in the "one day" pile.
The skirt is an amazingly gorgeous shade of orange. It's wool. It's vintage with the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union label. It pulls on and fits very well. This is one of my favorite pieces already.
My last in theater movie was The Help. What was the last movie you saw?
Have any orange in your closet?
I'm ashamed to tell you the last movie I saw in theaters was SATC 2. I know, I know.
ReplyDeleteIn other news, you look fab. I LOVE that belt!!!
Thank you! Yo haven't been in a REALLY long time. I'm going to try and get back to the theaternfor the raincheck movie.
DeleteI loved SATC 2. The fashion, the colors, the sisterhood, the fantasy..

DeleteLast movie was Mission Impossible. It was too loud for my liking. I am a fan of orange. I even wore it to prom. LOL
ReplyDeleteHeyyy! #teamorange
DeleteI wanted to see MI. All the hype about it being best of the series.
I just cleared out some room in my closet and dresser. You make me want to go thrifting for clothes! I usually go for the vintage pyrex :D.
ReplyDeleteThe last movie I saw was 10 years ago. I can't even remember. Most likely hubby and I were making out, lol 0:-).
Wowzer 10 yrs?
DeleteCheck out the clothes. There's treasure. I casually glance in housewares looking for ebayables. :)
Ooh, pear martinis! That sounds good! That skirt fits nicely, I like the orange on you.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Vicky. The pear martini tasted like a jolly rancher. I must recreate it.
DeleteOh! I also wore a tangerine dress for my photoshoot today :)

Interesting. He is by far way deeper than me. I watched the movie for entertainment purposes and didn't look at it as more than a story. A fictitious story.
ReplyDeleteI love your orange skirt! And vintage to boot - lucky girl. I sewed myself and orange skirt last year but that's the only orange I have in my wardrobe.
