Brain Dump V

Happy Holidays! It's a bit of a delayed greeting. I'm having some connectivity issues and we've been busy enjoying the long weekend. Food and drinks on repeat plus a few gifts.

I'm brain purging today.

She looks so different. Hard to believe it was only a year ago.

We didn't buy gifts for V this year again. She received numerous gifts from family and friend and we thought that was enough.

The time sure does fly by. I can't believe we're on V's second Christmas and she's 16 months as of tomorrow.

I got a fancy new phone for Christmas and I have been stunting in the house since. I have a pay as you go plan so I will be just pretending I'm doing cool social media stuff with it for now.

Ahh velour!!

I went in search of the "special" Santa and Santaland at Macy's. I was so curious about it after Quiana mentioned it. V was stressing though so we didn't make it into Santaland this year but next year. I shall plan instead of going the day before Christmas Eve after doing a bit of shopping in a hot store with tired, cranky baby.

I nursed V on a crowded "L" train while wearing a turtleneck tunic. Again poor planning. Hot hysterical tired baby and me in a non breastfeeding friendly outfit.

My taste buds have changed and I am now more of a white wine fan.

My Christmas polish lasted a whole 2 days! After I applied the base coat I realized I have been using the wrong base coat and that's why I've been having so much chippage the past few polish changes. I haven't been using the Orly one.

I call these my falalalala nails.

I'm signed up for a Nice! Shopping Made Easy House Party in January. I want to do a crafting theme for purely selfish reasons. I need to crank out a project.

V has for the most part given up her 2nd nap and will only take 1 nap while nursing so I've lost my break time during the day. No more showers alone but I get to sleep and cuddle for an hour or two.

Speaking of nursing..the end does not look near.
