Style File: Denim jacket, cargo leggings, tall boots

It has been found. I have never ever owned a denim jacket. Blazer yes. Jacket no. I've been looking for one to add to my closet. Lately, the prices for denim jackets at the thrift store seem to have skyrocketed with the trend. I found this one at Salvation Army today. Price tag? $11. Say what? Yes. $11. Luckily it was 50% so it didn't hurt me too bad. You know I like to stick to $3 and under. That's getting harder and harder to do.

I liked the slanted pockets on this one so I grabbed it. Now that I've bought one I'm sure I will see 1,000 more that I like. Does that happen to you?

My collar is wonky. #reallife

This picture cracks me up.
She's all about eating her goldfish and I'm trying to show my back.

  1. Great find for that price! They are definitely raising the prices on items, especially jean jackets. I have one, but it's zig zag in the front. I want another. I usually stick to an under $5 rule. I wonder if I can do under $3? Even at Salvation Army, it's getting harder to find the deals on 50% off days. It used to be empty, now it's full of folks all day long.

    1. Thank you!

I went thrifting today. While I got some great items. It certainly wasn't the large haul I'm accustomed too. Tragedy.

  2. I love the pics with you two! LOL My little photobomber is the same...haha. I have a cute denim jacket I got from old Navy and bought it one size larger so I could layer it and roll up the sleeves a bit. I love it!

You are genius for getting a larger one. Now I want a larger one to layer. :)

  4. I bought a nice Guess brand jacket last year at the thrift store for $10.00.
I wore it the other day. Glad they're back in but I would wear it regardless.
