Style File: long green tunic and skinnies

I have a special place in my heart for tunics. It's another one of those throw on and go pieces that I'm fond of these days. This one is a lovely shade of green with a stripe and flowers pattern. I'm pretty sure it's home sewn. I find the neckline to be a bit high and have plans of opening up the slit in the middle. It only needs one cut down the center. I just have to find the scissors..

Everything else has been seen before. The jeans were last seen at a fashion show. Sandals seen here and here. I love them. I can stand in these for hours and my feet don't feel like I'm walking on bloody stumps. Do you own comfortable high heels?

Note: My lips aren't stained purple with wine -- this time and this early in the day. It's the OCC Lip Tar Hoochie and MAC Lipglass All My Purple Life (discontinued) mixed together.

  1. I love the green. Colors that pop like that work great for my dark skin tone.

  2. Beautiful tunic! I love them, too, and in fact, am wearing one today. But I know what you mean about the neckline. My neck is short, so I need lower ones.

  4. Love all the colors that you have going on. From the green tonic to the purple lips. It just flows. Jealous that you got to purchase All My Purple Life when it was available, I've given up hope that MAC will ever bring it back.

  6. Love that tunic and I completely agree w/ you on the throw and go :) I'm also studying the stairs you are posing on, because they somewhat look like the stairs to the 2d floor right outside my living room window here!

  8. Comfy heels are a MUST. Platforms or wedges tend to work best for me. The green and leopard look great together too.
