Thrifted Treasure: Salvation Army $10 Bag Sale

Salvation Army had a $10 bag sale at the Fullerton location. Everyone familiar with how bag sales work? Receive bag when entering store, fill it, pay $10. Hurrah!

I wasn't sure about going because the sale was on a Friday and Saturday. I was only able to check it out on Saturday. I thought I was going to find mob action but it was pretty quiet when I went in the evening.

The pickings were a bit slim. New racks did come out occasionally which was good. There still wasn't much to look at. Half of my haul came from the cast off pile of a woman who had a completely loaded cart to look through. Ever have cart envy? I totally wanted to shop her cart. I did manage to put 16 items in my bag so everything cost me roughly  $.63 cents a piece!!!!!

What I Thrifted

Floral print vintage dress
It's home sewn and has some loose stitches but I'm going to fix it up. I just love the shape and mutton sleeves.

Look at that pussy bow!

 black embellished vintage dress
Another one with gorgeous details. It's stitched beautifully and in great condition. Will probably end up in the etsy shop.

the design looks like the hand of Fatima, no?

Suzi Chen little black dress
It's a pretty simple dress. It's really well made. I never pass up well made clothing especially for $.63. Never.

vintage wool pencil skirt from Donna Mizar
The decorative stitching sold it.
Just when I said I don't buy winter clothes in the summer, I come across some really fabulous pieces.

Ungaro jacket + J Crew skinny cords

floral print top from Zara
I like the tie front peplum. As you may or may not know, peplums are my thing even before the trend.

button up from Lux
There are 2 buttons missing but guess what? There are 4 useless buttons on the sleeve. Woot woot!

Proenza Schouler for target
I have such a hard time passing on anything purple.

denim from Club Monaco, PaperDenim&Cloth, and NYDJ
Most likely will end up on eBay or at Crossroads Trading. The Not Your Daughter's Jeans didn't make me look like I had a tummy tuck so......

Joe's premium denim
For sale. I absolutely do not wear a size 27.

run errand workout pants and leggings
One day I will get back in the swing of things with fitness and I will be ready.

 Steamboy steam mop
You weren't expecting that right? Absolutely random. It was there. I was there. We've been doing research on steam mops and had looked at this one so I felt like the universe put it there for me to see.

Wondering how the steamboy fit in my bag? Just look at the size of the bag. I could have put the entire store in that bag!

In other news: I'm the Member of the Week on Thrifters' Anonymous link up hosted by Shana. Yay!!! Check it out and link up!
