I did not need another jumpsuit in my closet but I simply could not leave Goodwill without this one. It has harem pants, lots of draping and embellished shoulders. It's so outrageous and completely impractical like all jumpsuits.
I did not let National Thrift Shop Day go by without getting in a little thrifting. Goodwill had a rare coupon and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to thrift with a discount. Good deals made even better! I can't pass that up.
I spotted the jumpsuit on the way to checkout. Those dazzling chain shoulder embellishments lured me closer. I didn't even try it on. I just brought it home with me.
The oddball glam thrift store treasures always get me. I'm a disco diva without a party. I keep going for these items that don't offer much in the throw on and go department. This is not the outfit I'm wearing to Publix. It's definitely needs a mom's night out type of occasion. I see myself badly lip synching to 80s music while sipping rum punch from a plastic cup in this.
It's so much fun piece to wear. I imagine all of the great times this jumpsuit has seen. It has sparkle and lots of charm. The ultra draping with the pencil pant legs must have looked amazing parachuting out on the dance floor underneath strobe lights.
It is another hot (literally and figuratively) polyester find and perfect for the transition to fall. Now I just need to find the party.
