Fresh and Glow Morning Routine for Moms on the Go

This shop has been compensated by #CollectiveBias and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. When you don't rise and shine, there's always the #FreshAndGlow approach.

I'm all about soft, glowing skin especially since it generally gives you a vibrant pulled together look with little effort. I don't have time to luxuriate in the morning with full on beauty treatments though. I wake up 30 minutes before V at 6:30 am. I'm rising but working on the shining part. In order to get off on the right track, I practice a little bit of glow on the go that helps me look like a million when I'm feeling like a $1 bill washed in a jeans pocket.

Fresh & Glow Morning Routine

I've established a morning routine that's simplistic and non fussy that helps me look and feel my best in 30 minutes and then focus on getting Ms. Violet ready to start her day.

Pre-Plan. Lay the clothes out the night before. I like to be put together as much as possible. It helps me start my day on the right foot. By taking 10 or 15 minutes the night before, I don't have to think too much in the morning. I can just slide right into my clothes.

Start Fresh. I know. I know. Of course, you're going to shower! I don't know about you but I've seen school drops in pjs which leads me to believe some people just rolled out of bed. I want that extra sleep so so bad but my day is offtrack if I don't start with a shower.

Softsoap's all new Fresh & Glow Hydrating Shower Cream and Exfoliating Polish will give you an extra push to get out bed. While in Walmart for a few essentials and randoms, I found these two yummies made with 100% real extracts.

The milk protein, almond, and coconut extracts of the Hydrating Cream provide lasting moisture. You'll step out the bath with soft, radiant healthy looking skin. The exfoliating Fruit Polish smoothes and creates glowing skin with a mix of apricot seeds, orange and kiwi extracts.

Personally, I like the Hydrating Cream for the glow and go routine. As I have 30 minutes,  I like knowing my skin is already locking in moisture before lotion. If I'm running late, I'm confident my skin isn't going to dry out and look dull if I skip the post shower moisturizer. Also, I'm a big fan of coconut scented anything. It's a treat to leave the shower slightly scented. No perfume needed.

I reserve the Fruit Polish for weekends when I have a little extra time to pamper and treat my skin. The tiny apricot seed granules exfoliate the skin gently and leaves behind super soft, glowing skin.

The 5-Minute Face. A little bit of makeup will help you fake it until you make it. You may be crying on the inside for an extra 10 or 60 more minutes in bed. You can look your perky best in mascara, blush, tinted lip balm and a gentle upward sweep of the brows.

Water. I don't like drinking water. However, it's necessary. Hydration cures so many ails. I've gotten into the habit of starting my day with warm lemon water.  It gives me a pre-coffee perk and keeps my stomach full for a bit if I'm having a late breakfast.

Of the 4 steps in my morning routine, hydration is most important for looking and feeling your best - drinking and showering. With Softsoap's Fresh & Glow in the morning mix, there's a new luxurious way to start your day!

I so needed this post in my life today! I have yet to master the half hour fresh and go, but I'm working on it. One of my goals this week is to drink more water, so I'm happy to see that it plays a large role in looking your best. -Tiffani G from MyMommyVents.com

I am always running like a bad woman in the mornings! Great tips and you know, sometimes I lay the cloths for the kids to save time, why haven't I thought about doing the same for myself?!? #client
