My crochet tights are always a crowd pleaser. They look great with dresses and skirts and add a layer of warmth. While I've had trouble finding more pairs, they're not the only cute ones out there. I've selected a few similar styes that will give new life to your winter wardrobe.
Whenever I wear the crochet tights people ask about them and my information on them is foggy. The brand tag has been washed away. I've narrowed it down to a Macy's, Carson Pirie Scott, or Marshall's purchase about 7 years ago.
Tights are a winter staple for me and I sometimes wear them under pants for an extra layer of warmth or to do a little body shaping. I'm not ashamed to say that I will rock old fashioned pantyhose too. It's not for everyone though.
Tights are more fun and come in an array of styles and colors that don't have to be perfectly matched to your leg hue to look good.
They're also a great way to expand your wardrobe at a very affordable price. You gain more wear out of those summer dresses and skirts. You can add a bit of interest to your classic pieces or provide some coverage to that micro mini skirt you may be hesitant to wear.
To make up for my lack of knowledge on this particular pair, I've pulled together some cute alternatives. The Falke tights are for high rollers. I have a couple of their sweater tights I bought 6 years ago (in my mid roller days) and they are still going strong after several washes so I know they're worth the price. All the others are under $25. Forever 21's tights are just $7! It's one of the few purchases I would be ok purchasing from there.
